Can I obtain pre-approval for Tamoxitest from my insurance company?

Yes. You can call your insurance company and give them your ICD-9 diagnosis code which can obtained from your doctor along with the appropriate Tamoxitest CPT billing code. The billing codes are 1 X 83891, 2 X 83892, 1 X 83900, 14 X 83914, 1 X 83909, 1 X 83912, 1 X 83912-26. How will I receive my Tamoxitest results?

A printed report will be sent to you and your doctor. An account will also be created for you in GeneMedRx that will allow you to prepare a report for you doctor that analyzes all of the medicines you are taking and how they interact with each other and your personalized DNA test results.

What must I do if my insurance provider did not agree to reimburse my test?

Genelex has spoken to many insurance providers and succeeded in obtaining reimbursement for the test. Click here for more resources that will help you submit your claims for Tamoxitest.

Can I get access to GeneMedRx after my 90 day subscription expires?
